14.07.2015 - 18:50: Channel Lake Report | Quote Quote

07/06/15 70 degrees F, Northeast wind 15 mph. Fished 4:00 pm till 9:00 pm. Caught three catfish biggest being 27 inches right at sundown. Also pulled a couple yellow bass. Fishing golden roaches under a slip bobber two feet off bottom. Fished 12 feet deep near the northeast shore. My usually pattern fishing a wind swept shore near the first main break. Never deeper then 14 feet deep. Most of the time fishing the 6 to 8 foot break but this day I went deeper to 12 feet deep. The break on the the northeast shore is 8 to 17 feet. The bottom drops pretty quickly 8 to 17 feet in no more then 20 yards. A productive shoreline break for all species all year long. Walleye, White Bass, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Channel Catfish and Muskie.
